FedEx employees prepare healthy meals for children in Cebu.

FedEx partnered with Rise Against Hunger Philippines in Cebu to package 10,000 nutritious meals for underserved communities, benefiting around 166 public school students for 120 days. This initiative occurred during Purple Week as part of the FWS Day of Service, honoring FedEx founder Frederick W. Smith and promoting community support. The meals aim to address a growing child nutrition issue in the Philippines, where stunting among children under five has risen to 25.3%. Both organizations emphasize the importance of proper nutrition for children's development and education.
