The IAF transported 47.5 tons of relief supplies to Nepal via airlift.

The Indian Air Force sent two aircraft to Nepal on August 26-27, delivering a total of 47.5 tonnes of humanitarian aid following devastating flash floods that resulted in casualties and significant infrastructure damage. The first aircraft, a C-130J, carried 10 tonnes of relief supplies, while a C-17 transported 37.5 tonnes, including medicines and food. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar confirmed that the aid reached Kathmandu and emphasized India’s ongoing support for Nepal's relief efforts in coordination with local authorities.
