FedEx plans to invest around $150 million in a fully automated air cargo hub at GMR Cargo City, Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, aimed at enhancing its network in North and East India. This 230,000 sq ft facility will integrate international gateway and pickup-and-delivery operations, increasing package processing capacity from 600 to 5,000 per hour. The investment supports India's evolving logistics infrastructure and aims to improve cargo movement efficiency, benefiting businesses with faster shipping options as demand rises.
