Shanghai Airlines manages its inaugural live-bird shipment on the KUL route.

Shanghai Airlines successfully transported its first live-animal shipment, carrying 50 juvenile yellow-billed storks from Kuala Lumpur to Shanghai on flight FM886, before they were trucked to Fuzhou for zoo display. Coordinated by TAM Group Malaysia and China Cargo Airlines, this milestone emphasized exceptional teamwork and careful planning. The shipment, weighing 900 kilograms and requiring special handling, involved meticulous attention to temperature control and health monitoring throughout. Despite challenges like hot weather, TAM Group's proactive coordination ensured the storks arrived safely in optimal conditions.
