Airbus has introduced its first A350F freighter test aircraft at its Toulouse facility, showcasing a unique "flying parcel" design. This rollout is a significant step toward its flight-test campaign, with a target for the maiden flight before the end of 2026, possibly in late September. The A350F aims to enhance Airbus's position in the large widebody freighter market, traditionally dominated by Boeing, featuring a large main-deck cargo door and advanced materials to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. Airbus has received 107 firm orders, with commercial service expected in the second half of 2027.
