Vienna International Airport announces an increase in profits for the first half of the year.

Flughafen Wien AG announced its H1 2026 financial results, showing a slight revenue increase to €529.3 million and a 7% rise in net profit to €123.2 million compared to H1 2025. This growth was attributed to lower operating costs, although cash flow from operations decreased due to higher taxes. Flight movements rose by 4.6%, and the average seat load factor improved. In July 2026, local passengers dropped by 5.3%, with overall passenger traffic increasing by 1.6% to 24.45 million from January to July. Cargo volumes saw a minimal increase of 0.1%.
