Avianca has activated its cargo and passenger services to aid emergency relief in Colombia after a recent earthquake, transporting over 150 tonnes of vital supplies in just two days. GOLLOG contributed a Boeing 737 freighter from Sao Paulo, marking its inaugural landing at Armenia's El Edén International Airport. The operation, coordinated with the Colombian Presidency and involving charter flights from El Salvador, delivered essential items such as food, water, medicines, and infant supplies. Avianca plans to continue collaborating with authorities to support affected communities, emphasizing the importance of logistics partnerships in humanitarian responses.
