Jan Krems, President of United Cargo, will retire in September 2026 after a 40-year career in aviation and cargo. Chris Busch, currently Vice President – Cargo Americas, will succeed him. Krems highlighted United Cargo's achievements during his tenure, including significant revenue growth and the successful pivot to cargo-only flights during the pandemic. Busch, who has been with United since 2007, will oversee all aspects of United Cargo's global operations. Krems previously worked at KLM Cargo and has a strong background in leadership roles across various regions and functions.
