Etihad Airways has commenced its first service to Tashkent, Uzbekistan, enhancing connectivity between Central Asia and Abu Dhabi while integrating with Etihad Cargo's global network. This new route aims to improve air cargo access to an underserved market, facilitating the transport of high-value goods such as textiles, produce, electronics, and pharmaceuticals. By leveraging its Abu Dhabi hub, Etihad Cargo will enable quicker movement of goods, thereby bolstering trade links between Uzbekistan and international markets, and reinforcing Abu Dhabi's strategic role in global logistics.
