The Port of Los Angeles has appointed Alvin Chu as the new head of its Internal Audit Division.

The Port of Los Angeles has appointed Alvin Chu as the new Director of the Internal Audit Division, where he will manage an audit program aimed at identifying risks and ensuring efficient use of resources. Chief of Staff Stephanie Magnien Rockwell expressed pride in welcoming Chu, who has extensive experience in both public and private sectors. With 19 years in auditing, he previously served as Assistant City Auditor in Long Beach and led the Fraud, Waste, and Abuse unit in Los Angeles. Chu holds a double major in economics and history from UCLA and is a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Fraud Examiner.
