Cathay Cargo experienced significant growth in the first half of 2026, with revenues up 23.9% to HK$13.81 billion, driven by high demand for technology-related shipments. Cargo volumes rose 8.5% to 869,000 tonnes, and cargo yield increased 18.1% to HK$3.06 per tonne-kilometre. The Cathay Group reported a 71% profit increase to HK$6.24 billion, bolstered by strong passenger and cargo demand. Despite rising fuel costs, the Group raised its interim dividend by 30%. Cathay plans to expand services in response to peak season demand while monitoring geopolitical factors.
