Lufthansa Cargo's profit for the first half of 2026 rises by 47% to €199 million.

Lufthansa Cargo reported a 47% increase in adjusted EBIT to €199 million for H1 2026, with revenues rising to €1.92 billion, a 16% increase from the previous year. The EBIT margin improved to 10.4%. Capacity growth matched demand, with a 5% rise in freight tonne-kilometres to 7.21 billion. CFO Gregor Schleussner highlighted ongoing challenges but emphasized the focus on speed and adaptability under the BOLD MOVES strategy, aiming for a top-three position in global cargo by 2030. The company is also progressing on a €600 million project to enhance its Frankfurt hub and has created GlobeCross GmbH to integrate eCommerce logistics and customs services.
