Global air freight rates saw a slight increase last week, breaking a five-week decline, with the Baltic Air Freight Index rising by 1.3% and 19.6% compared to the previous year. While rates from China to Europe continued to drop, those to the US strengthened. In South East Asia, rates weakened due to seasonal slowdowns, whereas North Asia experienced gains. European outbound rates varied, with increases to many regions but declines to Japan and the UAE. US outbound rates mostly rose, despite a dip in Miami's southbound routes.
