Dubai-based SolitAir has launched direct cargo services to Bucharest's Otopeni International Airport, marking its second EU destination. This route strengthens trade between the Global South and the EU, following the recent introduction of flights to Sofia, Bulgaria. The carrier received its ACC3 security designation from the Belgian Civil Aviation Authority, enabling it to transport cargo into the EU while adhering to strict security standards. With a growing fleet of Boeing 737-800 BCF freighters, SolitAir aims to enhance trade, particularly between Romania and the UAE, which has seen significant economic ties.
