Cathay Cargo has designated Kintetsu World Express as its eighth partner for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) cargo.

Cathay Cargo has welcomed Kintetsu World Express (KWE) as its eighth partner in the Corporate Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Programme, aimed at promoting sustainable air cargo operations and achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. The programme now includes notable partners such as DHL Express, DB Schenker, and Microsoft, all working to enhance the use of sustainable aviation fuel. KWE, which became Cathay's first SAF partner in 2021, received a commemorative trophy during a visit from Cathay representatives to its Tokyo headquarters, recognizing their ongoing collaboration in decarbonizing the air cargo sector.
