The ePlane Company and Apollo Hospitals have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to incorporate electric air ambulances and medical delivery drones into India's emergency healthcare system, enhancing trauma care access by mitigating delays from road traffic and distance. The partnership aims to facilitate rapid transfers for trauma, cardiac, and stroke patients using e200X electric air ambulances, which can transport patients significantly faster than ground vehicles. Apollo Hospitals will leverage its extensive network to support this integrated emergency response, with plans for future investments and collaboration on regulatory requirements.
