The Cathay Group reported strong traffic and financial performance for June 2026, with over 3.1 million passengers carried, marking a 9% increase year-on-year. Cathay Pacific saw a 12% rise in passengers compared to June 2025, while cargo volume also increased by 9%. Despite elevated jet fuel prices, the Group maintained robust demand, particularly in premium cabins and for cargo services, with a forecasted profit of HK$6.0 to HK$6.5 billion for the first half of 2026, up from HK$3.7 billion in 2025. The positive outlook is supported by enhanced connectivity and solid growth in various markets.
