Qatar Cargo launches freighter service from Doha to Katowice.

Qatar Airways Cargo has initiated a scheduled freighter service between Doha and Katowice Airport, with the first Boeing 777F aircraft arriving on July 17, 2026. This service will operate twice weekly until October 24, 2026, including a direct route and one via Budapest. The Boeing 777F can carry over 100 tonnes of cargo, providing businesses in Poland and Central Europe access to Qatar Airways' global network. Katowice Airport, which saw a 29% increase in freight in early 2026, aims to exceed 50,000 tonnes this year and over 100,000 tonnes annually by the decade's end.
