TIACA appoints new Director General.

The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) has appointed Mammen Tharakan as its new Director General, effective August 2026, succeeding Glyn Hughes. Tharakan, a seasoned aviation executive with over 25 years of experience, was chosen unanimously after a thorough selection process. He has a broad background in various sectors of aviation, enhancing his strategic and operational insights. Tharakan aims to advance TIACA's mission of fostering a united and profitable air cargo industry, as highlighted by TIACA Chair Roos Bakker and outgoing Director General Glyn Hughes.
