Lufthansa Cargo successfully transported Mir, a rescued tiger, from Brussels to the Isindile Big Cat & Predator Sanctuary in South Africa via Frankfurt. Previously kept as a pet in Ukraine, Mir was abandoned during the war and later rescued by the Wild Animal Rescue Center. The Belgium-based Natuurhulpcentrum Oudsbergen facilitated his relocation to a permanent sanctuary for long-term care. During transit, Mir received professional care at Lufthansa's Animal Lounge. The airline expressed gratitude to the collaborating rescue organizations, highlighting its commitment to wildlife conservation.
