A.P. Moller – Maersk announced the opening of a new $100 million fulfillment hub in Hopedale, Massachusetts, set to begin operations in late August. This 617,000-square-foot facility will create around 1,000 jobs and enhance Maersk's logistics capabilities in the Northeast, particularly for a major e-commerce customer. Designed for high-volume fulfillment, it aims to process up to 330,000 units daily and will improve supply chain efficiency and reliability. The investment reflects the company's commitment to meeting growing consumer demands and supporting local economic development.
