Turkish Cargo is expanding its SMARTIST cargo hub at Istanbul Airport, increasing its annual handling capacity from 2 million to 4.5 million tonnes. This investment aims to meet rising global air cargo demand and enhance operational efficiency and service quality, solidifying Istanbul's status as a key air cargo gateway. Lodige Industries has been selected as the technology partner, continuing their collaboration from the first phase. The upgraded facility will feature advanced automation systems to streamline cargo handling, ensuring fast, reliable service while accommodating growing volumes.
