The Port of Los Angeles is inviting proposals for its Zero-Emission Truck Purchasing Incentive Project, aimed at licensed motor carriers registered in the Port Drayage Truck Registry. This initiative supports the purchase of at least 10 battery-electric Class 8 trucks, offering up to $300,000 per truck, with a total funding cap of $24 million per carrier. A total of $75 million is allocated for this project, sourced from the U.S. EPA Clean Ports Program and the Port's Clean Truck Fund. Proposals are due by December 3, with contracting questions accepted until July 20.
