DHL Global Forwarding has introduced TransPac Connect, a dedicated air freight service linking Southeast Asia and the U.S., enhancing supply chain resilience amid market fluctuations. This service features a tri-weekly cargo route between Bangkok and Cincinnati, utilizing high-capacity freighters to transport up to 100 tonnes per flight. It connects key Asian markets like Hanoi and Taipei to major U.S. gateways, offering reliable capacity and fixed schedules. Henk Venema emphasized the strategic importance of Southeast Asia in manufacturing, aiming to provide customers with greater control and flexibility in their supply chains.
