Amazon has initiated a humanitarian air bridge to deliver essential relief supplies to communities in Venezuela affected by the June 24 earthquakes, with seven weekly flights to Caracas. This marks Amazon's first dedicated humanitarian air bridge, collaborating with Airlink, the U.S. State Department, and the UN World Food Programme. The operation aims to streamline aid delivery, ensuring only prioritized items are transported to avoid overwhelming local resources. This initiative builds on Amazon's extensive disaster relief efforts, which have provided over 30 million emergency supplies globally since 2017.
