LODD has begun the certification process for the Hili VTOL cargo aircraft.

LODD Autonomous has initiated the certification program for its Hili hybrid cargo aircraft with the UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), transitioning it from development to formal certification. Hili, developed in Abu Dhabi, is a hybrid VTOL aircraft designed to carry up to 250 kg over 700 km, supporting various cargo operations. The certification process will evaluate design, airworthiness, and safety, with backing from Abu Dhabi's aviation ecosystem. This milestone reflects the UAE's commitment to aviation innovation and aims to enable efficient and safe commercial operations in logistics and other sectors.
