A 12-hour search operation recovered wreckage from a Pakistan-registered Boeing 737-400SF cargo aircraft, which went missing while flying from Sharjah to Karachi. The aircraft lost contact with air traffic control after reporting a navigational malfunction and was last tracked 155 nautical miles WSW of Karachi. Five crew members remain missing. Preliminary flight data indicated the plane experienced altitude fluctuations before descending steeply. K2 Airways, which operates the aircraft, is cooperating with authorities in the ongoing investigation.
