FedEx Fulfillment is looking to grow by investing in a robotics company.

FedEx is enhancing its e-commerce fulfillment services by partnering with Nimble, an AI robotics and autonomous technology firm, though the investment amount remains undisclosed. This collaboration allows FedEx to utilize Nimble's fulfillment centers, supporting the expansion of FedEx Fulfillment for small- and medium-sized businesses. With six Nimble centers operational or planned in the U.S. and Mexico, the integration aims to streamline operations and attract more e-commerce customers. FedEx Supply Chain currently manages over 130 facilities and processes 475 million returns each year.
