Maersk reaches a landmark achievement.

Moller – Maersk has made history in India's maritime sector by becoming the first international shipping line to purchase a shipping container manufactured in India, unveiled at a joint venture Inland Container Depot in Dadri. This achievement follows a 16-month collaboration initiated by discussions between Maersk's leadership and India's Prime Minister. The container meets stringent global quality standards and reflects India's growing manufacturing capabilities. Supported by government initiatives, Maersk aims to strengthen its partnership with Indian manufacturers as the country's container manufacturing ecosystem develops.
