DHL executed a meticulous three-day multimodal transport operation from Sanya for the 2026 Shanghai E-Prix, ensuring compliance with transport regulations and on-time delivery of shipments, particularly for lithium-ion batteries, which require careful handling. Federico Cavani from DHL emphasized the logistical complexities behind Formula E races, highlighting the growing importance of battery logistics amid global electrification. Since 2013, DHL has been the official logistics partner for the championship, managing the transport of around 400 metric tonnes of freight per race. The upcoming season will feature 17 races across 11 cities, showcasing Formula E's commitment to sustainability and transparency with its B Corp Certification.
