A recent DP World report reveals that over half of Chinese supply chain executives intend to expand their supplier networks and diversify sourcing by 2026 to enhance resilience and market reach. The survey of 292 executives indicated that 58% prioritize increasing suppliers, surpassing the global average of 51%. Chinese firms are focusing on near-shoring, friend-shoring, and technology investments, with a strong emphasis on artificial intelligence. Despite geopolitical uncertainties, optimism remains high, as 43% foresee trade growth. Executives express confidence in navigating trade barriers and accessing trade finance more readily than their global peers.
