Emirates has achieved a milestone by becoming the first airline to operate the Boeing 777-300ERSF, a passenger-to-freighter converted aircraft, entering commercial service with a flight from Hong Kong to Dubai carrying over 100 tonnes of cargo. This aircraft offers a 25% increase in cargo volume compared to the Boeing 777-F, with enhanced pallet capacity, making it suitable for e-commerce goods. Emirates SkyCargo is expanding its fleet, planning to add more converted and production freighters, to enhance global trade connectivity and meet rising air cargo demands.
