Emirates has enhanced its cargo fleet by introducing the Boeing 777-300ERSF, the first passenger-to-freighter converted aircraft. This new model has a payload capacity of 100 tonnes and offers 25% more cargo volume than the Boeing 777-F freighter, making it suitable for e-commerce goods. Badr Abbas from Emirates SkyCargo highlighted the strategic conversion of older aircraft to meet rising air cargo demands. With the addition of this aircraft, Emirates is expanding its global freighter network and aims to enhance connectivity and support global trade. Further expansions are planned through 2027.
