China Southern has placed an order for seven B777 freighters, which includes five B777-8F models.

CSA Cargo, a subsidiary of China Southern Airlines, has signed a purchase agreement with Boeing for seven widebody freighters: five B777-8F and two B777F aircraft, with an option for three additional B777-8F units. The deal, announced on June 26, 2026, has an estimated list value of $3.6 billion, although the actual negotiated price is lower. Deliveries will occur between 2027 and 2034, funded by internal resources and pending government approval. CSA Cargo aims to enhance its competitiveness and capacity in response to growing e-commerce and industrial globalization trends.
