GEODIS evaluates thermal paper covers for pharmaceutical air transportation.

GEODIS has successfully conducted international trials using sustainable paper-based thermal covers for pharmaceutical airfreight, marking progress in merging temperature-controlled logistics with sustainability. Since September 2025, these trials, in collaboration with a global pharmaceutical client, tested recyclable alternatives to traditional thermal solutions across multiple countries. A total of 86 shipments demonstrated that the paper covers maintained the necessary temperature range of +2°C to +25°C under various environmental conditions, supporting the integrity of sensitive products. This initiative aligns with GEODIS's strategy to enhance logistics solutions while addressing sustainability goals in the growing pharmaceutical transportation sector.
