Lufthansa Cargo has initiated the first phase of its LCCevo infrastructure project at Frankfurt Airport, aiming to establish Europe's most advanced air cargo hub by 2030 with an investment of €600 million. This project, which expands the cargo hub over 80,000 square meters, introduces automated processes and modern warehouse facilities to enhance efficiency and service quality. The ALPHA phase includes intelligent material flow systems and a fully automated high-bay warehouse, significantly increasing operational capacity. The initiative underlines Lufthansa's commitment to long-term growth and sustainability in air freight logistics.
