Ethiopian Airlines has announced the arrival of a Twin Otter Classic aircraft.

Ethiopian Airlines Group has received its first of two DHC-6 Twin Otter Classic 300-G aircraft from De Havilland Canada, aimed at enhancing domestic connectivity and access to remote regions and tourist destinations in Ethiopia. CEO Mesfin Tasew emphasized that this acquisition will bolster their air transport services and support various missions, including charters and air ambulance operations. The aircraft features advanced technology and improved efficiency, reinforcing Ethiopian Airlines' commitment to promoting tourism and connecting communities throughout East Africa.
