MIMIT and Radia have extended their agreement to further develop the WindRunner cargo aircraft.

The Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT) has partnered with aerospace company Radia to develop WindRunner, an ultra-large cargo aircraft aimed at revolutionizing logistics by transporting oversized cargo to hard-to-reach locations. This aircraft, designed to address gaps in global logistics and strategic mobility, will significantly reduce delivery times, enhancing supply chain resilience across various sectors, including defense and energy. The MoU also fosters collaboration with Italy's aerospace industry, utilizing local expertise while promoting transatlantic cooperation.
