Cathay Cargo is enhancing its freighter fleet with a lease agreement by Air Hong Kong for an Airbus A330P2F converted freighter, following a recent order for two Airbus A350F freighters. This new aircraft will boost cargo capacity and support services primarily to the Chinese Mainland and other regional destinations. Air Hong Kong aims to leverage the Three-Runway System at Hong Kong International Airport to expand its regional presence. The A330 freighter will join the fleet in late 2026, complementing Cathay Cargo's existing fleet and contributing to the overall growth of Hong Kong as a major air cargo hub.
