Qatar Airways Group has successfully restored 85% of its pre-crisis network and announced two new executive appointments to enhance operational excellence and customer experience. This recovery aligns with the launch of its Summer 2026 schedule featuring over 140 daily departures to more than 160 destinations. The new roles include Chief Operating Officer Abdulla Ali, who will focus on operational performance and safety, and Chief Customer Officer Calum Laming, tasked with ensuring service excellence. Both leaders will report to CEO Hamad Al-Khater, effective November 1, 2026.
