APM Terminals has completed its new container terminal at the Port of Suape in Northeast Brazil, marking a significant expansion of the country’s logistics capacity and enhancing trade connectivity. This investment of over USD 350 million results in Latin America's first fully electrified terminal, increasing container handling capacity by 55% to 400,000 TEUs annually. The terminal is projected to generate substantial economic benefits, including R$4.8 billion in exports and over 43,000 jobs. It positions Pernambuco as a key player in global trade, fostering growth and sustainability in the region.
