Emirates SkyCargo will initiate dedicated weekly freighter flights to Almaty International Airport in Kazakhstan starting June 16, 2026. This marks the airline's first destination in Central Asia, enhancing trade connections via Dubai. The weekly service on Tuesdays will offer over 100 tonnes of cargo capacity for vital goods such as electronics and perishables, supporting Almaty's role as a key commercial hub. Badr Abbas of Emirates SkyCargo emphasized the significance of this expansion for regional businesses and its alignment with the company’s growth strategy and Dubai's logistics objectives. The airline is also expanding its freighter fleet to meet global demand.
