Between March and May 2026, Air India transported over 1,000 tonnes of mangoes, contributing to more than 3,300 tonnes of fresh produce during this period. The airline's fruit and vegetable handling peaked at 1,275 tonnes in April, with major mango shipments originating from Maharashtra and Gujarat. Mumbai was the primary export hub, with significant weekly shipments to London Heathrow, Frankfurt, and Dubai.
