Union Pacific Railroad introduced its latest commemorative locomotive, No. 4547, in collaboration with Northrop Grumman and Wabtec, to support NASA's Artemis III lunar exploration mission by transporting solid rocket motor segments. The locomotive, unveiled in a ceremony attended by Union Pacific CEO Jim Vena and other leaders, pays tribute to President Donald J. Trump and marks the 250th anniversary of America. This collaboration highlights the role of American industries in advancing space exploration, with Artemis III set to be NASA's second crewed lunar mission, testing operations for future missions.
