Glasgow Prestwick Airport recently celebrated one year of Air China Cargo's scheduled freighter operations, which have expanded from three weekly flights to 11, linking Scotland with key Chinese markets. The partnership has introduced services from Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Shanghai, enhancing cargo connectivity for imports and exports, particularly e-commerce and perishables. The airport has processed over 25 million e-commerce parcels and exported significant amounts of Scottish salmon. This growth has created over 250 jobs and solidified Prestwick's role in facilitating trade between Scotland and Asia.
