CPKC recently participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for International Paper's new 468,000-square-foot sustainable packaging facility in Rankin County, Mississippi, set to be operational by late 2027. Coby Bullard, Senior VP at CPKC, emphasized the importance of this collaboration for efficient supply chain solutions benefiting both International Paper and the local economy. The $225 million facility will create 150 manufacturing jobs and is expected to enhance freight volumes and economic opportunities in the region, reflecting a strategic vision for industrial growth in Rankin County.
