Cathay Cargo has increased its order for Airbus A350F freighters to eight by exercising purchase rights for two additional aircraft, enhancing cargo connectivity in Hong Kong and supporting long-term fleet growth. This addition follows an initial order of six A350Fs announced in 2023. The new freighters aim to bolster Hong Kong International Airport's status as a leading global cargo hub and align with the airline's sustainability goals. CEO Ronald Lam expressed confidence in the airline's growth prospects, highlighting ongoing investments exceeding HK$100 billion to improve customer experience and operational capacity.
