BluJ Aerospace introduces its second-generation eVTOL aircraft on the VANTIS platform.

Hyderabad's BluJ Aerospace has launched the Gen #2 prototype, the first commercial-grade aircraft from its VANTIS platform after four years of R&D. This heavy-payload eVTOL, with a target payload of over 200 kg and max take-off weight of 500 kg, is currently in flight testing for logistics operations. The VANTIS platform aims to support various VTOL aircraft, enabling scalable development for both cargo and future passenger models. BluJ is also working on hydrogen-electric propulsion systems, with plans for long-range variants by 2027-2028, reflecting significant advancements in Indian aerospace technology.
