Eco Levant storage facilities in the port of Rotterdam

Last weekend, the Eco Levant, a container ship operated by X-Press Feeders, was bunkered with ethanol at the Port of Rotterdam, marking a significant milestone as it was the first ethanol bunkering for a sea-going vessel in the port. The ship is now using a fuel blend of 90% biomethanol and 10% second-generation ethanol. X-Press Feeders, the largest independent feeder shipping company, emphasizes the importance of developing solutions to reduce emissions. The Port of Rotterdam aims to lead in sustainable fuel bunkering, showcasing its commitment to alternative fuels.
