Air China has finalized a purchase agreement with Airbus.

Air China Cargo has signed a purchase agreement with Airbus for four additional A350F freighters, increasing its total order to 10. This follows an initial order of six A350Fs in November 2025. Vice President Wang Hongyan emphasized that this strategic decision enhances fleet optimization and transport capacity to meet international air cargo demands. Airbus EVP Benoît de Saint-Exupéry praised Air China Cargo's confidence in the A350F, which is designed for long-haul routes and boasts advanced materials for improved efficiency and lower emissions. As of April 2026, the A350F has received 101 orders from 14 customers.
